What Is Morpheus 8 ?

Morpheus8 is an RF microneedling device developed by InMode designed to remodel and contour the face and body. Morpheus8 is unique in targeting and strengthening the Fibro-Septal Network (FSN) skin-fat matrix. This advanced device is designed to deliver targeted radiofrequency to each layer of the skin aiming to stimulate collagen production.

By methodically treating each layer of the skin, Morpheus8 treatments aim to provide a deep tightening as well as a rejuvenated look to the skin’s surface. The transmitted radiofrequency energy induces stimulation of dormant fibroblasts leading to new collagen and elastin production, which are the fundamental building blocks of smoother and firmer skin.

FAQs

Depending on your Morpheus8 treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-3 sessions.
The downtime after Morpheus8 varies from 1 to 5 days. Some redness, bruising, and swelling are to be expected after your treatment, and small scabs will form in the area treated. It is advised to not wear make up for the first 24-48 hours.
There is discomfort from the treatment. However a potent 10% anesthetic cream will be applied prior to your treatment to make it more comfortable.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Individuals with an electronic implant, such as a glucose monitor, pacemaker or defibrillator, or a permanent implant in the treatment area
- Cancer or history of cancer
- Immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV or use of immunosuppressive medications
- Heart disease, epilepsy, uncontrolled hypertension, and liver or kidney disease
- Herpes simplex in the treatment area
- Active ulcers, psoriasis, eczema or rashes
- Keloid scars, wounds, and very dry skin
- Uncontrolled endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid dysfunction
